FEMAP Express - An Introduction to Finite Element Analysis

FEMAP Express is now built into Solid Edge Classic as of Version 18 and therefore this 1-day course is particularly useful as it gives novice users a sound background in the concepts of analysis. Through set piece examples it gets users quickly up to speed with the features of the Solid Edge integrated analysis system. The content steers away from high flown numerical derivations and concentrates on down to earth engineering ideas and explanations.

Analysis is only as good as the work carried out in support of it, so the course covers the essentials of model checking and validation against other sources of engineering data.

Prerequisites

No experience of analysis is required, however users should have a good basic knowledge of Solid Edge.
